dc.description A wooden stage and bench-seating being set up on the Front Campus lawn. It is likely that this was eventually covered to create the Tabernacle, a temporary structure which served as an assembly hall, auditorium, theater and classroom. Similar photographs are shown on page 35 of A Book of Memories and between pages 56 and 57 of The Years of Youth.
