She describes the National Guard troops she saw on May 3, 1970, and beatings of students by Guardsmen that she witnessed. On May 4, she was in the Commons near Engleman Hall when the shootings took place and she relates her eyewitness account of the events. She also describes listening to Dr. Glenn Frank in the Commons afterwards and how she felt sitting in the Commons surrounded by armed Guardsmen. |
