Description:	The wooden passenger ferry "Promise" was built at Detroit in 1892 for the Detroit, Belle Isle & Windsor Ferry Co. and operated across the Detroit River between these points, and later Detroit and Windsor until the early 1930s. She was abandoned in 1934 and broken up at Detroit in 1935.
