| Description: | This image shows the "Wallula," one of the steam propellers built of wood with four masts, at Cleveland, Ohio by Thomas Quayle's Sons in 1882. The "Wallula" was owned by the Wilson Transit Company, then sold to the Gilchrist Company of Cleveland, Ohio. Eventually, she was sold by them to a company located at New London, Connecticut. The vessel was dismantled at Bath, Maine in 1920. |
