dc.description The "O. O. Carpenter" was a wooden vessel of 364 gross ton. She was laid down in 1891 by the Jenks Shipbuilding Company of Port Huron, Michigan. In 1905, her name was changed to "Massasoit." In 1905, she was relocated to the coast. She was taken out of service in 1931. en_US
