dc.description This vessel was built at Ecorse, Michigan at 1907 by the Great Lakes Engineering Works. She was of 7,268 gross tons. She was built for the Pittsburgh Steamship Company of Cleveland, Ohio. In 1952, she was under the ownership of U. S. Steel Corporation, also of Cleveland, Ohio. After colliding in the fog with a British motor carrier off the south end of Pipe Island on the Lower St. Mary's River in 1964, she was repaired at Lorain, Ohio. She was sold for scrap in 1980 to Western Metals of Thunder Bay, Ontario. en_US
