Description: This propeller was built in 1906 by Great Lakes Engineering Works, Ecorse, Michigan. She was transferred between several branches of Interstate Steamship Company (Duluth, Minnesota, 1906-1909; Cleveland, Ohio, 1909-1943; Astabula, Ohio, 1943-1949), before being sold to Jones & Laughlin Steel Corporation, Astabula, Ohio, in 1949. She was sold to Wilson Marine Transit Company, Cleveland, Ohio, in 1952. Hindman Transportation Company, Owen Sound, Ontario, purchased her in 1964, and sold her to Quebec & Ontario Transportation Company, Thorold, Ontario, in 1978. In 1964, She became "Helen Evans." She had a tonnage change in 1937, and was repowered with engine from Liberty ship at Owen Sound, Ontario, over the winter of 1966-1967. As "Helen Evans," she ran aground in St. Lawrence River near Brockville on September 21, 1977, while bound from Sept-lles for Cleveland. Freed two days later with minor damage. She departed Quebec on September 17, 1980 under tow, arriving in Mamonal, Colombia, October 30, 1980, for scrapping. She was scraped by Soc. Industrial de Productos Siderurgicas S.A., Cartegena, Colombia on July 14, 1981.
