Title:	Searching Assurances

Description:	The poetry in this collection represents the culmination of several years' efforts. Although each poem is designed to stand alone, there is an overall theme – an attempt to find comfort in the trappings of early 21st century middle-class American life, even while noticing that these trappings might not be okay, and in fact may be dangerous. Form and structure are supremely important to me, and each poem plays with certain structures which hopefully, like the girders of a building, both support and define the poem, while remaining largely interior.
