dc.description |
The Racer was the first roller coaster at Cedar Point. In use until the 1920's, the Racer's tallest hill was 46 feet high. For 5 cents, a rider shared one of eleven cars with three other riders and was carried through the hills and valleys of the figure 8 roller coaster. The Racer was designed and built by Fred Ingersoll of Pittsburgh, who designed and constructed more than 300 roller coasters over the course of 25 years. |
