Michael Erwin was an undergraduate student at Kent State University in 1970. In this oral history, he relates his eyewitness account of the May 4, 1970 shootings on campus. He was one of the Kent 25, the twenty five students and faculty who were indicted by a grand jury on criminal charges for crimes in conjunction with the events of May, 1970. He discusses his experiences being indicted and how he eventually learned that the charges against him had been dropped for lack of evidence. |
