Adolescence is one of the most challenging transitions in life, moving from childhood to adulthood can be confusing creating issues concerning self-identity, sexual identity, physical appearance, social status, and acceptance. For this adolescent experiencing sexual assault during this stage of maturation was confusing, painful, and disturbing.
