Description:	The "Eastland" was built at Port Huron, Michigan in 1903. During her operation on the Cedar Point run, she was in charge of Captain M.S. Thompson, who sailed her for several years without a mishap. The "Eastland" was sold to the U.S. government and renamed the U.S.S. "Wilmette".
