dc.description Fr. Isidore J. Boudreaux was born at Thibodaux, Louisiana, September 11, 1817, studied at St. Louis University and entered the Society of Jesus at Florissant July 17, 1836. After ordination he remained three years at St. Louis, spent one year at Bardstown and then came to Cincinnati, becoming Rector in 1853. From 1857 to 1880 he was Master of Novices at Florissant. During the last few years of his life he was Spiritual Father at Milwaukee. He died while on a visit to Chicago, February 8, 1885. --Anonymous Alumnus, The Xavier Athenaeum, April 1916
