Description: | The "Reliance" was built by the Collingwood Dry Dock Company at Collingwood, Ontario in 1892. She was a wooden tug and was of 311 gross tons. In 1915, she was owned by Joseph Ganley and in 1921 by the Lake Superior Paper Company. December 14, 1922, she was stranded on the rocks two miles west of Liazrd Island, Lake Superior. Four lives were lost. |
