| Description: | The "Wayne" was built at Ecorse, Michigan in 1923. She was a ferry passenger steamer. She was owned by the Walkerville and Detroit Ferry Company of Detroit, Michigan. She ran across the Detroit River betwen the two cities. She was idled by the building of the bridge. In 1946, she went to Duluth, but in 1946 came to Toledo, Ohio. This picture was taken at Toledo, Ohio on the Maumee River in 1949. She ferried passengers to the outer light and to Bo-Lo Island. |
