| Description: | The "Longueuil" was built in 1884 by Paul Lamothe at Montreal, Quebec. She was of 370 gross tons. The Richelieu and Ontario Navigation Company of Montreal, Quebec purchased her in 1886. She underwent a rebuild at Sorel, Quebec in 1890. Five years later, she was sold to the Montreal Safe Deposit Company of Montreal, Quebec. The company's name was later changed to Montreal Trust and Deposit Company. In 1907, she once again, came under the ownership of the Richelieu and Ontario Navigation Company. |
