Description: | The "Carol Lake" was steel-hulled Canadian vessel of 17070 gross ton. She was laid down in Collingwood, Ontario by the Collingwood Shipyards in 1960. She was owned by Carryore of Montreal. Her name was changed (1987 - 1994) to "Algocape." From 1994 - 2003, she was named "Mapleglen.." In 1962, she collided in the Welland Canal with the "Horace S. Wilkinson." In 1976, she struck a lock wall in the St. Lawrence. Seaway. She was sold overseas for scrap in 2003. |
