| Description: | John Scholl began brewing beer with Milan spring water in 1850. The business eventually was bought by Anton Herb, whose descendants built this brick building in 1905. The brewery closed in 1950. In 1955 Growers Chemical Corporation bought the building and today uses the same spring water in making mineral supplements for agricultural use. |
