Title: | Ice at the Railroad Bridge, Fremont 1912 |
Author: | Niebergall, Ernst |
Description: | Ice piles up under one of the railroad bridges that cross the Sandusky River in Fremont. Many people blamed some of the Sandusky River's flooding on the numerous bridges built across it. The bridges' abutments and piers narrowed the river's channel and slowed the water's flow down to Lake Erie. |
